Higher Bowden prides itself in being an ideal place for family holidays and to this end
we would like you to draw your attention to the following items:
- The cottage is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival (after 3:30pm) and although we do not expect you
to clean the cottage to the same standard before you leave (before 10am) we do expect you to leave it in a "respectable" state.
- We do not accept pets.
- Smoking is NOT allowed inside cottages or any of the games/play rooms or swimming pool complex.
- We request parents supervise their children at all times as there are areas of the complex which can be
potentially dangerous for unsupervised children. In addition poorly supervised children can be an annoyance to other guests and effectively spoil their holiday.
- Under no circumstances leave children under 16 without adult supervision in the swimming pool complex.
- Under no circumstances leave children in the under 5's playroom without adult supervision.
- For health and safety reasons children under 16 are not allowed in the gym.
- Food and drink are not to be taken into the swimming pool complex or playroom as it is a health and safety hazard
particularly to children who have severe food allergies.
- Do not leave empty (or full) bottles of wine or beer outside your cottage door as this is potentially dangerous for other guests.
- Sorry, due to the layout of the grounds there is nowhere to play football games at Higher Bowden
- Your friends (up to a maximum of 4) are welcome to visit your cottage during the day only (before 6pm),
however for health, safety and insurance reasons it is important that all visitors are notified to the owners
prior to their arrival. Use of the swimming pool, games facilities or under 5's playroom is restricted to
residents only. You must inform us of all visitors' cars or they are liable to be clamped and the fee to remove the clamp is £100. Please note that we cannot guarantee that there will be a parking space available for visitors.
- Car parking space is restricted to the following - 1 & 2 Bedroom cottage have 1 space each, 3 & 4 Bedroom cottages have 2 spaces each.
